La casa è ubicata su una collina di fronte al centro storico di Ragusa Ibla con una vista panoramica.
Il progetto è intervenuto su un rustico esistente recuperandolo con nuovi interventi di ristrutturazione.
The house is located on a hill in front of the historical center of Ragusa Ibla. Due to its strategic position it presents a scenic view. The project handled with an existing building recovering it with renovations works.

The Apartment K is located in the heart of Bolzano. This is a concept development and interior design for an apartment in an existing building. The lobby area is separated by a generous cloakroom from the kitchen. The kitchen has a dining area and is directly connected to the living room. It can be separated from the surrounding areas by sliding doors. All rooms flow smoothly into one, simply due to the cabinet walls and the central furnace seperate spaces may arise. The parents’ bedroom with walk-in closet and the corresponding open-plan bathroom, and the two bedrooms of the children form the sleeping area of the apartment. All bedrooms have a private balcony. Directly connected to the apartment there is a guest apartment with living area, bed- and bathroom. All the furniture of the apartment are white, the floors in the day and night areas consist of walnut, only the bathrooms are tiled. aAn internal staircase leads from the living area directly on the overlying roof terrace with Jacuzzi.
L‘appartamento K si trova nel cuore di Bolzano. Si tratta quì di un‘invenzione concettuale e arredamento d‘interni per un appartamento in un edificio già esistente. La zona d‘ingresso è separata grazie ad un ampio guardaroba dalla cucina. Questa è connessa direttamente al soggiorno insieme alla zona pranzo, ma può essere divisa attraverso porte scorrevoli dagli spazi limitrofi. Tutti i locali si compenetrano in modo armonioso, anche se talvolta possono crearsi ambienti secondari grazie ad armadi e al camino centrale. La zona notte è composta dalla stanza dei genitori con l‘armadio, insieme al bagno a pianta aperta, e le due stanza dei bambini, i quali condividono un bagno. Tutte le stanze dispongono di un balcone personale. Direttamente connesso all‘appartamento si trova l‘appartamento degli ospiti con zona giorno, zona notte e bagno. Tutti gli arredi dell‘appartamento sono tentuti in bianco, i pavimenti delle zone giorno e notte sono in legno di noce, e talvolta i bagni sono coperti da piastrelle. Attraverso una scala interna si può giungere dalla zona abitativa sul sul tetto piano adibito a terrazza con piscina.
The existing building of the Hotel Schloss Plars, located in Algund, was built in the late 19th century and the breakfast room and the kitchen have been built in the early 20th century. The project aims on the one hand, the transformation of the breackfast room and on the other, the redesign of the south facade and the construction of a balcony.The material chosen for the railing of this balcony will be black steel, taking up the pattern of the existing railings. On the east facade were created several windows to lighten up the rooms. All openings have been designed in accordance with the “castle character”. The redesign combines sophisticated design and historic character.
L’edificio esistente dell’ albergo Schloss Plars a Lagundo venne costruito alla fine del 19° secolo mentre la sala per la colazione e la cucina sono stati costruiti all’inizio del 20° secolo. Scopo del progetto è da un lato, la trasformazione della sala e, dall’altro, la riprogettazione della facciata sud e la costruzione di un balcone per poter offrire anche la colazione all’aperto. Il materiale scelto per la ringhiera di questo balcone sarà accaio nero, riprendendo il motivo delle ringhiere esistenti. Sulla facciata est si creano più finestre per dare luce alla sala e alle stanze. Tutte le aperture sono state progettate in conformità con il “carattere castello”. La riprogettazione unisce design sofisticato e carattere storico.
